Greetings from Hong Kong! Last week was epic – we where in Hong Kong! WOW, what a city, what a place and what a strong tradition for pre-wedding photography! I’m so honoured that we where invited to do the shooting for Winnie, Ken Tiffany, Joe, Giney and Andy. This photoshoot was done on Hong Kong island – we started at Stanley market, a very popular spot for wedding and prewedding photographers, wow, what a magical place, it is so different from other Hong Kong – I even saw some European pubs out there, I wouldn’t want to miss a chance of having some pre-wedding photos in a nice cosy French cafe or Irish Pub, but as it was Saturday, the place was crowded – looked like everyone was out there for a pint! After that we continued to Repulse bay another nice place to make pre wedding photos Hong Kong – opposed to stanley market it was quiet, only some guards watching my performance – love the chilled and scenic shots by the sea, that is another great place to make engagement or pre wedding photographs in Hong Kong. As we where fighting with the jetlag our car took us to yet another non-urban spot – the Reservoir – seemed like I’m in Switzerland or somewhere – surrounded by mountains, twisty roads and lakes, and finally the overlooking city at night from the Peak! I really like how the night shots came out, perfect pre wedding photos Hong Kong, as I have said before, there’s something beautiful in any light, even in no light, but you cant say that about Hong Kong, as even in the darkest night all the billboards shine and fill the scene for my photos. This is where Nikon equipment really shines, the D3s is the perfect tool and when it comes to my hands, I just get the job done, my way. Check the photos below and enjoy!
